Here’s two more guys who are headed to play ball in college:
First, is Brian Seliber, a Yorktown senior outfielder, who is headed to D-III Washington and Lee University. He batted .347 as a junior, but had a .573 slugging percentage thanks to two triples and three HRs. He leads all returning members of the Huskers in batting and RBI.
The other is Will Falco, a senior 1B/P at Hackley, who is going to Muhlenberg. Falco batted .419 with a .520 on-base percentage and .613 slugging percentage. He had 20 RBI and 18 runs scored in just 62 ABs. He won three games on the mound for the Hornets and struck out 38 in 35.2 IP.

Congratulations Will, Keep hitting the crap out of the ball,Its been fun having you as one of my teammates over the years, good Luck at Muhlenberg.
Congratulations. Seems like Westchester is going to have a lot of good teams. Isn’t anyone from Rockland signing. I though by now Fasano would be signed.
I also heard that Matthew Calandrillo of Haldane is committing to College of Mount Saint Vincent
Not all commitments are written up only the ones that he thinks are important. Congrats to Canadrillo.
R…Not even remotely true. I will write a story about anyone who plays D-I ball (our policy), and post anyone’s commitment on the blog provided they contact me to tell me about it. If not, I don’t know about it.
mr. Thomson, i have seen plenty of commitments u wrote about for d3 and d2 players commitments
The Season…In all cases I was contacted by a coach, parent or player who shared the news. If no one tells me about a commitment, I can’t possibly know about it.
ok. thank you mr. Thompson. I am sorry for the trouble i have caused you
When is the last time that a westchester player has gone on to play at a D1 top program? Does anyone know?
It depends what you consider a top Di program ? The first one that pops into my mind is Brian Moran. He’s a Sophomore and is pitching at UNC Chapel Hill.
yeah well I have heard he was a set up guy with limited innings, not on much money at all but still a great pitcher and great program. Mike Anderson is on a large scholarship to East Carolina University. He was a starter last season before he needed season ending Tommy John surgery. I cant wait for that kid to get back on the horse cause he is a special player.
Hugh Henry from Mt Venon to Pitt
Sean O’Brian Va Tech
Ryan Powers Miss State
PJ Zocchi Clemson
Ryan Mahoney So Carolina
Joe Panick St John’s
BTW There is not a lot of mney given to any play in college baseball
