im looking for hastings to do well down the road, they got some pretty easy league games this week which i think they can beat irvington and sleepy and get on top in the league and hopefully maintain that spot, but pearl river is right on them in the league. Hastings i think will compete for section down the road..however they must get runners in when the bases are loaded thats theyre huge problem. But Hastings and Nanuet next week will be a big game for both teams im looking forward to watching it.

South definetly finally derserves recognition. I was at the tournament and it was amazing how all the kids on the team rooted for each other and got along. They really believed all the long they would win even though if it had gone into extra innings they were out of pitchers. Another amazing thing is that they won in the bottom of the 7th with the bottom of the lineup batting.

With all due respect, after watching Clarkstown South win the tournament they host, I believe they have jettisoned themselves into the top 5 of the power rankings.. They knocked of Regis (currently 1st place in the BX/MHT division of the CHSAA), James Monroe ( a team that seems to play for the PSAL championship every year)and Guilderland,(defending Section 2 champions, currently ranked 10th in NYS), all in less than a day and half...Very impressive performance, and one that should be recognized in my opinion..
