The New York State Association of Independent Schools has released its state tournament bracket. Rye Country Day earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 Berkeley Carroll on Saturday in the quarterfinals. Coach Ted Lawrence hopes to play the game at 1 p.m.
If RCDS wins, it will host another quarterfinal winner (No. 3 or No. 6) on Sunday in the semis. Another win will land the Wildcats in next Wednesday’s championship game at Manhattanville College.
The teams haven’t been listed yet, but you can check out the brackets for the tournament here.

Rye Country seems like a good "B" team..Is there any other team in this "private" league that are any good ? If not, Rye Country should win this playoff in my opinion. Good luck
Poly Prep from Brooklyn is the top team in this tournament, and the overwhelming favorite to win it again (they won last year beating Hackley in the finals). Hackley School is the #3 seed in this tourney; they lost once to RyeCDS this season (4-2), and 3 times to Poly Prep (including two close games).
