Yes it is true that Kennedy Catholic Team Mascot and # 1 Fan did a phenomenal job broadcasting the sectional games. His hidden DJ talent is now well-known, which has drawn major interest from the likes of ESPN and YES network. Best of luck to Kennedy vs. Gowanda and CBA... and lets refrain from any further harsh comments on the blog, going down to SectionOnePlayers level is being just as immature as he is so lets keep it clean

Answers to a few questions/comments...
1. No, there is no federation tournament for baseball.
2. If it rains tomorrow, the games are moved to Sunday.
3. Lay off Mercurio. Not only is he a teenager, he's an excellent shortstop and one of the best players on a possible state champion. I doubt whoever has criticized him has even played in a final four.

Just an amazing story for Keio.
Although they were 2nd place in states last year, it was made of bunch of talented seniors so this years team had to start from scratch. It took lots of devotion and hard work. Its obvious from their record how the team got better and better as the season went on. Right now theyre at the top of their game at the best time.
Good luck to them in the States, especially the two aces Tori and Miyoshi.

Section1player... You played in Florida with your buddies on vacation. You didn't play for the Gators. Give it a rest with your impressive background. Your comments are pathetic and if you are in fact in your late 30's you need to grow up.

Is it true James. O'Connell is now being looked at by the top Music Disco Jockey Universities in the country. His ability in the DJ Music business was clearly proven duing the sectional games at KCHS where his high energy music pumped the team up, which could be the reason for the close call verse PV. Holla back if you agree...

For anyone has a problem with my boy Michael Mercurio, you can all come see me, "Big Feens" in B-Town. I am 6 foot nothing but a strong 250 built like an ox. Like KCHS says... ""Let the players play, to officials officiate, and the spectators be positive." FACTS

The reason the KCHS has had a great year is they are a TEAM. There is no "I" if you notice. Mike carried us early and when he was cold "AC" was hot. Then it was the "Joe's" Rock, Smith and Santangelo. Then how bout Dowd, and Louis? This is a team. No ace just 4 solid pitchers who picked up W after W. Tat wasn't good yesterday and MO was. Richie stepped up today after 2 rough starts his last times out. This is a "Clutch Team" not a group hung up on their individual stats.

Teams win championships not players. Without Mike we are not in the states. Without Nick, we are not in the states. Without the "Joe's" we are not in the states. FACTS

Hasen't he proved enough, His Hr's beat Pelham and Somers early in the year. He was the MVP at Iona Prep Tournament and for the Brewster Game. He got the big hit vs Put Valley in the Sectional final and scored 3X in the regional game yesterday. He's our team leader, nough said. In 2 years you can watch him play in college. You should be on the phone right now with Coach O'Sullivan since you really don't need straight A's to play at FL. That we know for a fact.

This is a 17yr old and your worried about clutch players. Go to the Yankee blog and beat up AROD. If you are who you say and played where you say then you should be more of a man then what your showing.
