Looks like it is going to be a lousy day for baseball
I hate this weather!
Delahanty 370 ft home fun for mahopac ..pac up 4-1
Beacon 12 Peekskill 2. Homeruns for Romanelli and Rios.
Westlake 7-0 over blind brook.
Mahopac 6-1 over brewster
Harrison 3- Nyack 1. Bruckner 11 K’s in 6… Came to bat in the bottom of the 6th in a 0-0 game and was taken out… Is he hurt?
rye keio score?
Bruckner high pitch count, nyack made him work, threatened almost every inning just couldnt get the timely hit
Fox Lane vs Pleasantville Score?
2-1 Rye
u want scores go to the highschoolsportsnet.com link click on scores.. baseball.. Fox Lane 22 P-ville 11
Its a shame arlingtons defence is so bad. Horton was overpowering the john jay hitters but came out with the loss due to an inning where there were three misplayed balls resulting in three unearned runs.
Guess Bruckner is gonna pitch against Byram on short rest or Rye on full rest on tues. I say short rest against Byram on Monday.. then Rye next sat night
Bruckner’s pitch count didn’t reach 90…. Probably just saving his arm. It’s about time. Just not in a 0-0 game like that let him finish. Just my opinion.
I think If the plan is to pitch a league game on Monday (short rest) you pull him. Then he can pitch against Byram (Mon) and Rye.. Sat. If not its just Rye
john 711 – Though I am Carmel fan (no kids on team) I do give props to Pac team for early success …
Thanks ramfan…the kids never give up ..hopefully the teams can meet up again
During your call or on one of your blogs, someone brought up the fact that there are coaches that don’t report scores or stats. Case in point, Roosevelt played Ardsley Wednesday at Roosevelt and the Roosevelt coach didn’t report the score, aside from the fact that the kids enjoy seeing their name in the boxscores, no one knows who won or lost, then stats are missing when you do the stats and everyone throws numbers at you.
It shouldn’t just be the home team, each team should be responsible. Coaches should be held responsible, it’s always the same coaches that don’t report. Shame on them!!
Nyack is solid defensively and the kid pitched a great game, crazy how 1 error can change a gamebut it didnt seem like nyack had too deep of a line up, so im guessing harrison coach was thinking he would rather take the chances with bullpen rather than get the ace hurt, im all for saving his arm in that situation i think its a good call, non league game, cold, raining, why take the chance?
Agree Husky.
I don’t know how many hits they actually gave Nyack, but they were all infield hits except for one true hit… The lone ball that left the infield. Bruck struck out side twice after getting into jams each time. Kid can pitch, great game to watch
I agree with”baseball first.” Both home AND VISITING teams must be required to send in game results…...Many high school coaches in this area are semi-literate buffoons. Why should anyone expect them to follow through on anything that would require half a brain and commitment to the the team they are coaching? DISGRACEFUL!!
Harrison needed to make some adjustments at the plate. Move up in the box. The Nyack pitcher showed some guts. His coaches need to count pitches. Nyack threatened in the first and then did not really hit the ball. Too many infield hits. Men on base all game. Bruckner struck out the side twice and then got the Ks when he needed them. The Harrison infield is better then they played today. The weather was a factor. Not a great day for baseball. Harrison has a brutal schedule coming up. Go Huskies!
Stats are OVERRATED! Maybe the bloggers on this site should all reach into their deep pockets and pay for the stats to be kept at the games. Then all you stats people can be happy!
