Here are the results that we’ve received so far tonight:
Ardsley 6, Edgemont 1: At Ardsley, sophomore right-hander Joe DeGuardia fired a four-hitter for his first varsity victory as Ardsley extended its winning streak to four games. Eric Scaperotta and Mike Yodice drove in two runs apiece. Brenden Freedman had a single and knocked in Edgemont’s run with a groundout.
Pelham 3, Byram Hills 2, 8: At Pelham, Mike Murray drove in the game winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning for the Pelicans. Spike Manning went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Gion Ljucovic took the win pitching the final two innings of the game allowing an unearned run and struck out three. Jack Hatheway got the only hit of the game for the Bobcats.
Clarkstown South 8, Suffern 7: At Suffern, Al Conti had pitched six innings with five strikeouts. The Vikings had six players with a RBI. Chris Gragnani and John Saviano each had two RBI for the Mounties.
North Salem 3, Haldane 2: At North Salem, Nick Dolce led off the seventh with a double and scored the winning run with two outs on a single by Kevin Zajc. Luke Mackenzie threw two innings of perfect relief for the win. Stephen Zalys went 2 for 3 with two RBI for Haldane.
Harrison 8, Keio 1: At Keio, Matt Baker and Jack McCarthy each had two runs. Austin Pollack had an RBI and a run. Winning pitcher Luke Sassano gave up three hits and did not give up an earned run. Yuta Ishii had two hits and an RBI for Keio.
Tuckahoe 6, Gorton 5, 10: At Tuckahoe, Nick Reisman drove in Brian O’Toole for the winning run with a two-out double in the 10th. O’Toole and Justin Cucino each had three hits. Buzzy Irizarry threw all 9 2/3 innings for Gorton and allowed four earned runs.
Salesian 4, Stepinac 0: At Stepinac, Derrick Wade threw a complete game. He has now allowed just one run in his last two starts while striking out 18 (wins over Fordham Prep and Stepinac). Tyler Chen hit a three-run homer.
Sleepy Hollow 7, Hastings 2: At Sleepy Hollow, Zack Corcoran went 2 for 3 with two RBI and Dionel Infante had a double and three RBI. Edwin Lopez thew a complete game and struck out 12. Holden Squibb went 3 for 3 for Hastings.
White Plains 7, Mahopac 3: At White Plains, Juan Payero went 2 for 3 with a three-run double in the first. Sean Johnson and Tommy Bertram each went 2 for 3. Sean Nicholson got the win in his first start of the season and his brother Kevin got the save with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Mount Vernon 8, Lincoln 7, 9: At Mt Vernon, Courtlen Oates hit a lead-off triple and Christian Urena drove him in with a walk-off single. CJ Spence picked up his second win of the season by pitching two shutout innings in relief.
